A room for people trying new things with AI at work.
Nashville already has strong communities for builders, data leaders, product people, and AI events. This one sits alongside them, focused on the actual work — the workflow that finally clicked, the automation that broke, the rollout nobody adopted, the thing you’re still not sure should be automated at all.
Still planning to get to AI, or looking for a place to learn the basics? This probably isn’t the right room yet — the founding group is people who are already hands-on.

Post something you built, automated, tested, or broke — and get honest reactions from people who have tried something close to it.
Get unstuck
Ask the room about the half-formed problem you can’t search your way out of. Someone here may have run into the same thing from a completely different angle.
Steal the good ideas
See how a recruiter, a marketer, and an ops lead each solved the same problem differently, then take the version that fits your work.
Meet the humans
Build relationships with thoughtful people doing this work nearby — the kind you can send a question to six months from now. And maybe we’ll get together IRL if we decide we’re into that.
Why it’s worth the time
Learning from people who get what you’re working with.
If you do this work
You stop learning AI alone.
If you’re piecing this together between meetings, this is somewhere to check your thinking: examples from people working with constraints like yours, and a place to pressure-test an approach before you commit a team to it.
You also end up with people you can think out loud with about how to approach something, without sharing anything you can’t.

Someone on your team has likely become the AI person.
This work is new, and there’s no established playbook for it yet. It’s free to join, it sends them somewhere serious to learn, and what they pick up comes back into your organization.

Why I want this to exist
This work is new. There’s a lot to know. We don’t have to figure it out alone.
As I’ve been building with AI, the most valuable thing has been having people to learn with. I want AI in Practice to be that kind of room in Nashville: a place to solve hard things together, make each other better, and laugh at how genuinely weird all of this is along the way.
Come here to share, learn, and help each other out. Good relationships grow out of that.
